The Dylan Jersey, in scarlet is named after Welsh poetand writer Dylan Marlais Thomas. A popular poet in his own lifetime, he was also freqeuntly chosen by the BBC as a reader and speaker due to his dulcet Welsh accent and tone. His most famous work is the 'play for voices' Under Milk Wood.
Be sure to listen to the recording by Sir Richard Burton who read 'The First Voice'. Interestingly, despite being heralded as one of the most important Welsh poets of the 20th Century, he wrote exclusively in the English language.
